This blog goes to the young dudes (and ladies) out there that are pursuing music as a hobby or career. It is such a beautiful thing to come together with like-minded individuals and create something out of nothing. As you know, that feeling when you are listening back to a track that everyone is passionate about is a moment to behold. I would never act like I have ever “made it” or am high and mighty by any means, but I have seen the ins and outs of many musical machines. Some efficient, some broken; some cloudy and some youthful, and full of life. There are infinite ways to describe the millions of situations. This machine we are running here in the Fatally Yours camp vows to never be too cool to take time for a fan, never compromise the integrity our art from an outside source (management, label, producer, etc.), or let image or fashion take precedence over the one thing that means the most: the music. If you are like us (in a band of friends), stay true to yourselves. Don’t let illusions of grandeur and dreams of money or fame taint your art, because when we look back at our musical journey as an old men (or women), we all want to be proud of what we have done--on any level--and know that we did things for the right reasons. These memories should equal smiles. Get out there and crush it guys!! Don’t hold back and dream on!! Fatally Yours, Keith
